WELCOME TO KINDERGARTEN!
I am so excited about another school year at Cornerstone Charter Academy! My name is Mrs. Erin Winbush. This is my sixth year here at Cornerstone. This is my first year teaching Kindergarten at Cornerstone, but I taught Kindergarten for 8 years before coming to Cornerstone. Before teaching Kindergarten here, I taught 3rd grade at CCA for 5 years.
I have been teaching for almost 25 years, and I LOVE teaching now just as much as I did more than 20 years ago! In these years, I have taught Pre-K, Kindergarten, first grade, second grade, and fourth grade. I really enjoy teaching elementary students because the students learn so quickly and love learning!
I am a native of Pennsylvania, but I have lived in North Carolina for over 20 years and consider North Carolina home. I love to read and I love to write stories and poetry. I love listening to all kinds of music. My favorite snacks to eat are cashews, peanuts, and popcorn and my favorites thing to drink are Cherry Coke Zero, Coke or Sprite Zero, and water; but I am trying to drink more water! My favorite color is purple. I am surrounded by boys in my family! My husband and I have 22 and 19 year old boys who keep us VERY busy. Our oldest son just graduated from Guilford College and our youngest is entering his sophomore year at Appalachian State University. Both of our boys play lacrosse and my husband and our boys coach lacrosse. We LOVE lacrosse at our house! We like to do things as a family, like go to the movies, play Putt-Putt, travel, EAT, and, of course, watch lacrosse!

Favorite restaurants: P.F. Chang’s, The Cheesecake Factory, The Melting Pot, Texas Roadhouse
Favorite flower: sunflowers
