Greetings Cornerstone Family! This is my fifth year at Cornerstone. Coming to this school has been one of the BEST decisions I have made in my career. I love everything about this school and am truly blessed to be here. Prior to my time here at CCA, I had a very successful nine year run in Guilford County Schools where I taught 7th grade math, 8th grade math, and 8th grade science. I am very excited to continue my new chapter in my life here at Cornerstone. I have enjoyed becoming a part of the Cornerstone Family and look forward on how to continually grow as a teacher, mentor, coach, and leader at this school.
My Educational Background: I graduated from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a bachelors degree in middle grades math and science.
My Interests/Favorite Things: I am a big sports fan. My favorite teams include NC State, Chicago Bears, Oakland A’s, and the Carolina Hurricanes. I love golf, and play a lot. I enjoy doing landscaping, constructing things, and all things SCIENCE! I would rather watch a cool science documentary on Netflix than the latest movie out in the theaters. Music is near and dear to me. I am a huge Rush fan, and play guitar. Last but not least, I truly enjoy teaching. I love the classroom and wouldn’t trade this job for anything!
